'Mya' combines shape-shifting analog synthesizers, ethereal piano textures, and a remote-recorded chamber orchestra. It is meant as a memorial for countless species that have gone extinct within the last 100 years.

I felt completely overwhelmed when I learned about the biological annihilation of wildlife in recent decades and how we’re collectively decimating the only assemblage of life that we know of in the universe. But rather than focussing on how depressing that is, I wanted to celebrate these animals. 

A picture that stuck with me while writing this EP was all of these magnificent and weird creatures marching and swimming through a circus ring while waving goodbye in a final, big parade.
